Mountain Breeze School Annual Fund Drive 2025

Welcome to Mountain Breeze School, a heart-based preschool located on a mountaintop in Madison County outside of Marshall, North Carolina

Our goal is to provide an educational environment in which children can feel safe, understood, and loved.

How we do it:

We serve children 3-5 years old with programs that are both play-based and nature-based. And, we have fantastic, loving, and educated teachers.

We teach:

skills that children need in order to be life- and kindergarten-ready

language

a love of nature*

emotional intelligence

yoga and meditation

tools for emotional self-regulation

and age-appropriate academics

*In addition to our two beautiful classrooms, we spend a lot of time outside on out large playground and our forest trail.

We provide our teachers with a pleasant work environment, education opportunities, paid time off, and competitive wages. 

We do our best to provide high quality early education at an affordable price and strive to offer these opportunities to families of all demographics.

We accept childcare vouchers, but this amount does not always cover the full tuition.

This year we built a new school classroom, doubling the amount of students we can serve, and adding new staff members. An expansion grant from the state of North Carolina covered most of these expenses but we were faced with unexpected expenses once construction started, such as the drilling of our own well and the building of an ADA compliant ramp. As well as added start-up costs, including classroom furniture, supplies, and teacher training programs.

Your donation will help us to cover all of the added expansion costs and monthly expenses.

Mountain Breeze School has supported families in our community for more than 10 years, and is licensed by the State of North Carolina as a five star child care facility.

Mountain Breeze School is a non-profit 501c3 organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by IRS guidelines.
